Pro-Line Intake System Cleaner Diesel

For cleaning the entire intake system. Recommended for preventative use during inspections. For use in diesel engines only!

Active solvent with a highly effective additive combination. Eliminates dirt and deposits in the diesel intake and throttle valve area. Dissolves and removes all greasy contaminants such as oil, resin, soot, etc. Ensures the functionality of moving parts, reduces fuel consumption, and increases the operational reliability of diesel engines.

Intended use

Gain access to the intake system. This should be as close as possible to the engine and after the mass airflow sensor. Start the engine to begin cleaning. If the engine cannot maintain its speed or will not start with the intake manifold disconnected, disconnect the mass airflow sensor connector with the ignition off. In this case, the stored fault code must be cleared from the engine control unit (ECU) using a suitable diagnostic tool after cleaning, and the mass airflow sensor may need to be recalibrated. Spray the diesel intake system cleaner into the intake system via the spray nozzle in short intervals of 2-3 seconds at a minimum of 2,000 RPM. Move the nozzle back and forth to clean the entire intake tract. If the engine speed increases by more than 1,000 RPM during application, it is important to stop spraying immediately. Ensure that the diesel intake system cleaner does not come into contact with the mass airflow sensor or any painted components. For stubborn deposits on the EGR valve, in the intake manifold, or on the intake valves, the cleaning process can be repeated with a second can. Do not remove the spray nozzle from the can after installation. After application, run the engine for approximately 20 seconds at a minimum of 2,000 rpm to burn off any remaining residue in the intake system.
