FSA 86 R battery-powered brushcutter: Powerful and precise mowing
With the STIHL FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter, you can trim lawn edges along paths and obstacles cleanly and efficiently. Hobby gardeners, small businesses, and caretakers can also mow small lawns with consistent performance thanks to the powerful EC motor. In addition, the brushcutter's exceptionally quiet operation allows you to work without hearing protection in noise-sensitive environments. Thanks to the battery technology, starting is particularly easy and requires minimal effort, and the FSA 86 R is ready for immediate use at the touch of a button.
The batteries from the STIHL AP system are protected within the motor housing at the handle, ensuring that the low weight and balanced battery center of gravity in the shaft axis contribute to fatigue-free operation, especially during extended use. The ergonomic, soft-touch wraparound handle and the continuously variable speed control of the STIHL FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter further enhance user comfort.
The brushcutter is compatible with three different cutting attachments, which can be changed without tools. The standard integrated STIHL AutoCut C 6-2 twin-line cutting head with a 350 mm cutting diameter can be refilled manually. Simply insert the cutting line into the housing from the outside. Depending on your needs, you can alternatively use the STIHL PolyCut 6-2 cutting head with plastic blades or the STIHL DuroCut 5-2 cutting head with line segments with the FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter. The spacer bracket on the FSA 86 R prevents damage to plants, objects, and the machine itself when working with different cutting heads.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for daily use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
