FSA 400 K battery-powered brushcutter: Very high performance for professional mowing applications in forestry and confined spaces
The high-performance STIHL FSA 400 K cordless brushcutter from the STIHL AP system, with its short shaft, is particularly well-suited for professional forestry work. Furthermore, the short shaft and the standard STIHL 225-24 circular saw blade make it ideal for professionals in garden and landscape maintenance as well as municipal operations , enabling them to remove shrubs, bushes, and thin trees even in confined spaces .
Whether for green space maintenance in noise-sensitive areas , removing weeds and undergrowth, or sawing small trees in young stand maintenance – the STIHL FSA 400 K combines ergonomic working with fast work progress and high operating and working comfort .
The ergonomic two-handed handle, specially shaped for sawing, can be adjusted without tools using the foldable clamping device. The 10-point mounting rail for attaching the tool and the integrated STIHL anti-vibration system contribute to fatigue-free operation. The ergonomic control handle allows you to adjust the speed in three stages for maximum efficiency and energy savings. The energy-saving mode is indicated by an LED.
For a long service life, the cordless brushcutter is equipped not only with a robust housing but also with a durable steel drive shaft , an extremely stable aluminum protective tube , and a gearbox with a grease refill screw and a safety stop for sawing applications . The air filter with a metal mesh ensures optimal motor cooling and is easy to clean.
For efficient use with STIHL fleet management, the STIHL FSA 400 is already prepared for use with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.
In addition to the standard STIHL circular saw blade 225-24, you can also use the FSA 400 K with the brush cutter blade, 3 wings, available as an accessory.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The FSA 400 battery-powered brushcutter has had its splash protection, already proven in internal tests, additionally certified to IPX4 protection class.
