TSA 230 cordless cut-off saw: Compact, lightweight and powerful for versatile professional applications
The powerful yet handy STIHL TSA 230 cordless cut-off saw is ideal for professional applications in gardening and landscaping, road construction, roofing and interior finishing, as well as for a wide range of applications in building construction and civil engineering . Thanks to its balanced weight, compact design, low weight, and high performance, you can make short cuts in building and paving stones, cut building materials, make lengthwise cuts in reinforcing steel and metal profiles, and cut metal and composite materials with high precision, even in confined spaces.
The 230 mm cutting disc of the STIHL TSA 230 angle grinder allows cutting depths of up to 70 mm . The ergonomic handle of the STIHL TSA 230 ensures a secure grip and precise guidance during cutting. The powerful, brushless EC motor operates virtually wear-free . Its electronic control system continuously adjusts power and speed to the optimal performance of the material being cut.
Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230 cordless cut-off saw can also be used indoors , for example in halls. It is particularly important in these environments that the dust generated during cutting is immediately contained . The integrated water connection ensures this. Alternatively, you can also reduce dust exposure using the optional STIHL depth stop. With this attachment, the dust is collected directly through a dust extraction port and fed into a connected wet/dry vacuum cleaner, such as the STIHL SE 133 ME.
Changing the cutting disc is very easy: simply press the spindle lock , loosen the retaining screw with a wrench, and then tighten it again. Further advantages include the run-out brake , which stops the cutting disc within seconds, and the STIHL magnesium guard with integrated water drainage.
In addition to the standard STIHL K-ME resin cutting disc, further resin and diamond cutting discs for many different applications are available as accessories for the STIHL TSA 230.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional daily use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL TSA 230 is also suitable for use in the rain.
