The impressive 3.0 kW electrical output is converted into a chain speed of up to 30 m/s thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery, specifically developed for this chainsaw. Another advantage of the STIHL MSA 300 CO R is its weatherproof and robust construction . The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations, thus relieving strain on your muscles and joints. The oil sensor continuously measures the amount of chain oil, helping you to work with minimal interruption.
To protect the power electronics and the motor, the MSA 300 CO R is equipped with an easily accessible and cleanable cooling air filter that filters dust and sawdust from the cooling airflow. Note : STIHL recommends STIHL SynthPlus, STIHL BioPlus, and STIHL ForestPlus chain oils. Operation with other light-colored saw chain oils based on vegetable or mineral oil is possible.
