Thanks to its very high blowing force of up to 32 N, even heavy, wet leaves, grass clippings, hedge trimmings, or debris can be blown away quickly . Furthermore, the blowing performance of the STIHL BRA 500 B remains consistently high throughout the entire battery runtime and does not decrease during operation. The STIHL Noise Reduction System ensures that the STIHL BRA 500 B operates particularly quietly , making it ideal for use in noise-sensitive environments . The powerful EC motor operates virtually wear-free and is characterized by smooth running and low vibrations. The BRA 500 B draws its high blowing power from two STIHL AP batteries. For optimal energy management, you can conveniently adjust the blowing power to suit the specific cleaning task using the digital control unit on the one-handed multi-function handle, selecting from four predefined power levels (levels 1-3 and continuous boost). The control unit also displays other essential data and information, such as the battery charge level. Furthermore, this blower comes standard with STIHL connected thanks to the HMI ADVANCE PLUS module . This allows you to activate features such as energy-saving mode via the app for less demanding tasks. In this mode, the STIHL BRA 500 B operates at reduced power, which can significantly extend battery runtime.

The weight of this professional leaf blower is distributed evenly and comfortably across your back thanks to an ergonomic carrying system with S-shaped shoulder straps and a hip belt .
For optimal performance when working with the BRA 500 B cordless leaf blower, we recommend using two STIHL AP 500 S batteries. For applications that do not require maximum blowing power, two STIHL AP 200/AP 200 S batteries or two STIHL AP 300/AP 300 S batteries can optionally be used.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL BRA 500 B, with its splash protection already proven in internal tests, has been additionally certified to IPX4 protection class.
