With the STIHL MSA 300 CO cordless chainsaw, you can efficiently tackle a variety of tasks as a professional in forestry and municipal services, landscaping, agriculture, and tree care : for example , felling and maintenance work, young stand management and thinning, as well as harvesting small timber and limbing . To ensure maximum efficiency, the three operating programs – Eco, Felling, and Limbing – configure the MSA 300 CO for each specific application. In addition to its excellent power-to-weight ratio, the user-friendly operation and sophisticated ergonomics contribute to a high level of operator comfort.
Thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery, specifically developed for this chainsaw, the full 3.5 kW of electrical power is converted into a chain speed of up to 30 m/s . Equipped with the STIHL .325" RS Pro saw chain and the STIHL Light 04 guide bar, it achieves high cutting performance with reduced weight . Professionals will also appreciate the weatherproof and robust construction of the STIHL MSA 300 CO. Vibrations are reduced by the STIHL anti-vibration system , thus relieving strain on your muscles and joints. The oil sensor continuously measures the amount of chain oil, helping you to work with minimal interruption.
To protect the power electronics and the motor, the MSA 300 CO is equipped with an easily accessible and cleanable cooling air filter that filters dust and sawdust from the cooling airflow. The MSA 300 CO is the first STIHL chainsaw to feature an operating and notification cockpit , providing you with all essential data and information about your saw.
The STIHL MSA 300 CO battery-powered chainsaw is prepared for networked operation via STIHL connected thanks to the Smart Connector 2 A.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL MSA 300 CO, with its splash protection already proven in internal tests, has been additionally certified to IPX4 protection class.
Note : STIHL recommends STIHL SynthPlus, STIHL BioPlus, and STIHL ForestPlus chain oils. Operation with other light-colored saw chain oils based on vegetable or mineral oil is possible.
Note : This cordless chainsaw can only be operated to its full extent with a STIHL AP 500 S battery. Using other STIHL batteries will not guarantee full functionality or maximum cutting performance.
