The STIHL MSA 220 TC-O cordless chainsaw is a particularly powerful tree care saw with Power Boost for professional use. Tree care professionals can use this chainsaw to cut trunk sections and thick, medium-diameter branches, as well as correct crowns, even in noise-sensitive areas. The STIHL AP 300 S battery from the STIHL AP system is recommended for the STIHL MSA 220 TC-O. As a lighter alternative, the STIHL AP 200 S can also be used.
The cordless chainsaw makes working in trees easier. After starting with the push of a button, the ergonomic operating system ensures simple and safe handling . Thanks to the clearly visible 180° LED indicators, you always have the status of the chainsaw, the chain brake, and the chain oil level in view. The adjustable oil pump allows for on-demand chain lubrication, so less chain oil is used for simple pruning and maintenance work. This saves money and protects the environment. The oil sensor , which continuously measures the amount of chain oil, helps you work efficiently. You will be actively alerted via the LED indicator when the oil level is low. You can easily clean the cooling air filter of the STIHL MSA 220 TC-O yourself. This keeps the cooling system of the power electronics and the engine components clean and ensures long-term optimal performance.
Another advantage of this tree care saw is that it can also be used in noise-sensitive areas, such as residential areas, around care facilities, schools, or hospitals. Furthermore, the low noise level facilitates communication with other team members.
The MSA 220 TC-O is prepared for the attachment of a comfort eyelet . This improves handling and freedom of movement. With the optional AP Stropp 2-in-1 adapter, you can attach the battery to the strap and noticeably reduce the saw's weight.
The STIHL MSA 220 TC-O cordless chainsaw is prepared for use with the Smart Connector. This allows the STIHL MSA 220 TC-O to transmit device data via Bluetooth® , so you can access important information about the device status via smartphone or tablet.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional applications and daily use, even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature certified splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
