The chain of the STIHL MSA 161 T cordless chainsaw can be easily and safely tensioned from the side without coming into contact with the saw chain. Additionally , the chain brake can be activated or released via the hand guard . The hand guard will audibly click into place.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for daily use, even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature certified splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
