MSA 160 cordless chainsaw: Powerful and energy-saving
Whether you want to saw firewood, fell fruit trees, or carry out other woodworking tasks: With the STIHL MSA 160 CB cordless chainsaw, you are ideally equipped for work around the home, in garden and landscape maintenance, or in the trades. Since the motor operates quietly and emission-free, you can use this powerful tool even in noise-sensitive areas and even indoors .
The STIHL MSA 160 CB chainsaw is a powerhouse among battery-powered chainsaws. Direct power transmission to the STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain and intelligently controlled motor output ensure high cutting performance , even with thicker branches and beams. Despite its power, the saw is remarkably lightweight thanks to the minimal number of electrical components. Weighing just 3.1 kg (without battery), it allows for fatigue-free operation even during extended periods of use. The STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning system enables safe and easy chain tensioning without the need for tools.
All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional applications and daily use, even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature certified splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
